Geoff Wilson and Simon Goodburn head deep into the back-country of Norway to train and test their PURE gear for some exciting upcoming polar journeys.
Asahidake in Japan is a fun ski area for powder hounds, particularly those on skis and those who are prepared to work a little for the powder. We headed out for the day to Asahidake Hokkaido with our guide TMS from Journey Into Japan for some awesome powder skiing and also to check out the fumaroles. http://www.powderhounds.com/Japan/Hokkaido/Asahidake.aspx Music: Japanese by Action Davis
Geoff Wilson and Simon Goodburn - Founder and Adventurer from 5th Element Expeditions took our gear for testing over to Japan... hear what they have to say.
Highlights from our latest snowboard video shot on the mountaintops of Alaska. Check out Alexa as she gets choppered up to the highest peak and carves her way down the mountain, putting her Pure gear to the ultimate test.

Happy opening weekend for all at the PUREBRANDZ team :)

A day with plenty of face shots in the fabulous Central Hokkaido backcountry! It was quintessential Japan powder skiing in the backcountry! Many thanks to our guide Tim Macartney-Snape from Journey Into Japan. http://www.powderhounds.com/Ski-Shop/Travel-Services/Tour-Operators/Journey-Into-Japan.aspx

The Powderhounds headed out heli skiing on Shiribetsu (near Niseko Japan) with Hokkaido Backcountry Club. The fun factor wasn't a 5/5 - it was off the Richter Scale!! This Japan heli skiing isn't like a few other Japanese helicopter outfits that are rather lame - it's awesome! You can see our review of the Shiribetsu Heli Skiing on Powderhounds.com. The Powderhounds headed out with Harris Mountains Heliski New Zealand for a day in August 2015. The powder wasn't particularly deep but it was lovely and fluffy! See the review of Harris Mountains Heliski NZ on Powderhounds.com for more information. This video was not filmed using pro riders, but rather aims to show the experience that regular customers will get with HMH. The Powderhounds headed out with Southern Lakes Heliski from Wanaka New Zealand to the Minarets. The powder wasn't super deep but it was very delicious! See our review of SLHS on Powderhounds.com for more information. This video of Southern Lakes Heliski NZ was not filmed using pro riders but rather aims to show a typical experience out heli skiing in New Zealand.
